20,000km is a lot of distance to cover on a bike especially one used largely for commuting. I crossed the threshold on a dark windy night fighting crosswinds and rush hour traffic.

Before we were parents we had a camping holiday in South Wales at a campsite called Gupton Farm. The beach was a short walk and an ideal place to play with my recently passed nanas old box brownie camera.

When i’m not cycling I seem to do a lot of standing on railway platforms. This is the 20:47 to Cheltenham Spa, one of the last few trains this evening from Gloucester.

A dive in the bits box and a few new bits and a lighter commuter bike starts to come together.
