Life as it happens
When i’m not cycling I seem to do a lot of standing on railway platforms. This is the 20:47 to Cheltenham Spa, one of the last few trains this evening from Gloucester.
A dive in the bits box and a few new bits and a lighter commuter bike starts to come together.
We’ve not managed to get to the Cotswold country show before as it’s usually taking place when we are away elsewhere, but with a free Sunday for once we headed over to the Bathurst Estate to take in the sights. Understandably I spent the most time in the rare breeds tent.
Not long after we had gotten together Mary and I put together a bucket list of activities we’d like to do together, simple things like have a microadventure, more camping, and places to visit. One of the things we decided we wanted to do was to visit Lundy island, and when I asked Mary to marry me, we knew straight away where we wanted to go on honeymoon.
Finishing the working week a day early and then remembering it’s easter so the trains are just a busy as usual.
